Dear r/c heli fans,

Wondered if you could lend me your ears.

I have a Nexus 30 all setup on my Field Force 6 tx, but one thing I'm
not sure of is how much throttle to pitch I should set.

There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to just trim both throttle and
pitch independently.

I think i have a bad habit of starting the heli with the blades urking
to go round but they are inhibited by my knee from doing so as the
clutch engages o early on. Too little throttle to start and it conks
out.

I'm sure my revs are too high when there is too little positive pitch
at the moment. Any suggestions?

Also can you get an RPM guage or is there a rule of thumb you can use?

many thanks

Ollie

You should find someone in your area to help you set up your heli. It will save you a lot of time and money. I could type here all day long and you probably wouldn't know what I mean. Even if you have to drive for three hours to have someone to help you, it would be worth it. I'm sure there would be lots of people that would help you out, just send them a email and ask. Here is a site to help you find someone.
