Well here's a shot of my Northwind 36. I never sailed her. I just enjoy building models so I thought I'd take a crack at building a sailboat. Well I entered her in the NW Model Expo here in Puyallup Washington and took 2nd place. Not bad for a newbie!
The kit wasn't too difficult to build although the Chinese to English translation was a bit hard to translate. Plus the assembly of the mast and components was kind of hard to figure out. A few building sequences could of been improved on. Nonetheless, a nice kit overall.
The hull was finished in bright white Krylon enamel and then covered with DuPont Chroma Clear. It was a pretty boat. I eventually sold it to make room for my many electric planes.
And you guy's thought I only built planes;)
