The very first line of the 2004 Safety Code reads:

I understand that my failure to comply with the Safety Code may endanger my insurance coverage.

Note the new word: MAY

Well I was going to say "Go the the AMA website and look at the 2003 Safety Code and compare the first sentence with the 2004 SC." The problem with that is I CAN'T FIND THE 2003 SC!

May is much less stringent that WILL or SHALL. The change is one of the first steps taken to unhook the Safety Code from the insurance coverage.
