Hey all,
Me and the boys at my office all pitched in $50 and got an 'office car' on ebay.
Shes a well-used Duratrax axis with a recently rebuilt motor...pretty good shape (for $140 complete shes in great shape!)

I wonder if any axis/NQ owners out there have any setup suggestions, advice on what parts to keep spares of, maybe aftermarket parts/plugs/tires recommendations?

The engine runs strong, and we havent been able to break anything yet despite some serious crashes. The only thing i dont like is that she understeers worse than any car ive ever driven (hence, the crashing). I just packed the front and center diffs with grease, but havent test driven yet.
I thought about softer front springs, but they barely hold the car up as it is. And i put 20w oil on all fours.
TIA, mike

I don't have an 1/8 scale buggy, but some of the things you can do are:

* set the rear camber at 0, the front camber at 1 1/2 degrees
* raise the rear ride height
* put 40 weight oil in the rear shocks
* put bald tires on the rear
* add weight to the front
* remove the front anti-roll bar
* add a rear anti-roll bar

Hope you get it hooked up!

ps. please post in plain text. HTML is not considered polite in the
newsgroups.
