I'm still goin to learn to fly first. But looking ahead. If I has some sort of 3D plane like a U-Can-Do .46 how serious is flutter like Can I do a dive straight down with no throttle and not have the plane blow up the tail? also I want a medium power engine for this plane not like a satio.91 so would a .50 O.S. 2 stroke work???
Keep in mind I understand that I will have to have at least a full season or two before i would even have to think about a second plane. Most likely on an Avistar.
Thanks in advance!!!

I'm goin for the spa3d---I think it would be but much less stressful to fly since if you crash you just lost $20 instead of 120 in a kit plus it can do 3d so I'll go for the spa3dt

Don’t feel as if you have to wait a year or two to transition to your second plane. I started with the Hangar 9 Extra Easy and flew that for two weeks and then moved to the Hanger 9 Pizazz, I love the plane and it’s flying style. From my opinion if you move from a trainer to a fun fly plane then you will be able to transition faster, the fun fly style plane give you the ability to try moves and do things you see others do and still land as slow as or even slow the with a trainer.

If you go with a Fun Fly plane with a mid size engine you will be fine. I have been flying my Pizazz for a month now and feel it's time for something different. I think I will go for an Edge 540 now, the Edge is what made me start flying in the first place. Go for the UCANDO and you will see your skill and confidence grow quickly. I have seen them fly and they are great.

From the beginner’s standpoint I say fly a mid size motor on a fun fly plane, because that way you learn to fly the plane vice the motor. The more experienced pilots over power planes because they already have their skill perfected. I first learned to fly, then I learned to fly my plane, afterward I learned to fly an oversized motor on my plane. This may sound like too many stages but it worked for me without anyone teaching me how to fly and so far without incident (knock on wood).
The spa3d look cool and are cheap to build but just can’t give you the performance of a true fun fly or a 3d plane.
