I went to the alu shop today, and all they had was .5 inch wide and 1.5 inch wide U channels. For the SPA3D I need 3/4 inches wide U channel. Would it be OK to use 1.5 inches wide U channel? Or should I just find A square channel?

You could use it, it would be heavier and a bit extra work to attach the servos, but not too bad. This is a "use-what-you-have" hobby! I'd cut shims to fill beside the servo, and the extra weight isn't bad.

Did you find some Coro? And did the other guy ever get his flying well?

Hi gordo.
Thanx. I think if I can't find anywhere else that sells aluchannel, I'll just get the square one.
Nope, didn't find the coro yet... I found a sign shop, and on the phone they siad they had, but when I got there they said that they don't sell it.... So far no one has posted anything about the SPAD in the other forum... So, they either got scared off bye the other guy, or they coulden't be bothered.....;)
This weak is a holliday, so I'm hoping to get to the phones and see if there is anywhere else that sells coro. If I DO get the square aluchannel, I'll just chop off the top....:p

I think your channel is a little lite weight, but you can double them and make the cutting board servo mounts and be good.Just use what you know and you`ll have a plane soon.Just surf the sites for ideeds of designs that worked,if not I`ll help you.I will fly anything made of coro.So don`t give up keep tryingi do well trust me
