I received a new 16x8 classic master airscrew prop, and its a nice looking prop but very very sharp on the edges, Is it OK to run some fine sandpaper around the edges to take some of the sharpness off?;)

Yes, be sure to balance it as well. You can bet it wont be anywhere near balanced.

Speaking from personal experience, I'd say go ahead and sand the edges of the Master Airscrew prop, balance it perfectly, and then throw it away (the sanding and balancing was good practice:-)
Like I said, FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, please go to Zinger wood props or any other wood prop of your choice.
9 out of 10 doctors recommend wood props... the 10th doctor needs the extra money to sew up the further damage caused by plastic props :D
