How are people putting lettering on sails?
Has anyone tried Iron on that has been printed with an ink jet printer? Does the heat required for iron on's melt the sails?
I want to put something on the sail of my mini soling but I'm not sure what to use.
Any advice would be appreciated!

we have found the best material for sail numbers is a self stick dacron. It is light, easy to remove if required, and will not fade or peel.
Climate Models (www.climatemodels.com) laser cuts sail numbers in any size required and will also custom cut logos and insignias.

Do not put an iron anywhere near your sails!

I thought an iron wasn't a good idea. I had thought about ordering an extra set to experiment with and thought about asking the question here. I've searched the internet but didn't find any info about what other people were doing. We don't have anyone else who sails on our area to ask either.
Thanks for letting me know.
