Hi team,
anyone got any useful hints or tips on how to get rid of the slop twixt plastic
ball and the ball link?
Replacing with new isn't an option, nor is 'cutting plastic ball off and
replacing with metal'.
Many thanks for any pearls of wisdom :-)

Why are none of the above an option?
Anyway, to give you "something" to be going on with. Plastic "Zip-loc"
baggies. Cut a couple of strip (about 1/16th wide) and put the strips
through the link and THEN work the link over the ball. Tight connectin
again.
Replace regularly.
Don't expect this to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Better get a silk
purse.

Cheers Beav, I did wonder about packing out the joint, I hadn't thought of
anything that would be up to the job. I'll give it a go.
These are two moulded items on a tail gearbox (similar to the Xcell layout). I
just need a temporary solution while I find a source for the original parts.

Which heli Mike, and exactly which parts? Y'never know, maybe I've got
something that'll do the job in one of my spares boxes.
