Hey Guys-We made first team-feels good-now we need to keep on winning.
Float flying is new to me-but when I first built my slow stick last year-I had to spend a lot, a lot of time researching, gathering up all the mods, sorting out the chaff from the wheat and etc.
So from someone that is new to the game, float flying is perceived to be difficult, even on rc universe-seaplanes-they are constantly reassuring flyers that it is easy, and constantly get asked the same questions over and over.
What about a post that covers all of the aspects of float flying from design through take off? A. Design B. Construction C. Installation D. Take off and Landing E. Troubleshooting
I certainly am not qualified, but several that have posted here could fill in most of the data- Jimsp has a good start on construction and installation. I do have a 1-10 list of formulas that I use to design floats that work - gathered up from 4-5 different sites.
Thought if we could make it easier, maybe more would try it-I enjoy the research, but some may not have the time. Flip
