That got you to look at my post!
I did build one of the first production Byron F-16 kits back in the 80's, now a Kyosho T-33.
I would love to have a turbine powered F-86, but the costs are just way out of reach.

Well guess what I am going to build a few R/C gas powered turbines with around 13-17 lbs of thrust. I will be selling them, if you want we can arrange a fare deal, WAYYY lower then the manufacturer charges for them..

Check with your Local Hobby Shop or Check out some of the local bookstores. They should have magazines there that should have all the information you seek :)

How about "rolling your own"? Obtain a used turbocharger, drill it out for an igniter, pump fuel through it, and there you go. You can gear it for a prop, or I suppose you can duct it for a jet. It sounds like a good idea, and I'd be willing to bet I'm nowhere near the first to mention it.
Now, I'd do it, except I'm married and just can't hide a project like that under the staircase, as I do with my micro heli. :D
