This past sunday 9-7-03 i flew my electric Twister in the Bergen county controline flyers contest. I flew in the expert class to 8th or 9th place out of 17? (I was busy judging and never got to count to get an exact placement or get a second flight). Is this a first? Has anybody else completed a full AMA pattern in competition?

Next summer should see some awesome EC/L stunters. There are quite a few people talking about there up coming E-projects. I am also building a plane of my own design for EC/L. Will we see the first win by an electric stunter next summer? O.K maybe i am getting to excited, but i am certainly going to try! Just wanted to keep you guys updated.

Excellent news Mike, congratulations. Coming on top of Jason Shulman's 7th in the R/C World Championships there's no doubt that electrics are coming of age all over the modelling world.

Do you have any details of the other ECL projects around, or better yet, any chance of persuading the builders to nip over here and let us know what they are doing ? I'd love to see more activity in this forum. Unfortunately I can't find anyone over here in the UK who is doing any serious ECL and even when I get a better model working my flying is never going to be competition standard.
