Greetings RC surface sailing enthusiasts.
Question:
In your experience and observations, what has been the best RC model speed
to wind ratio you know of?
If the UK man-sized surface sailer gets to 111 mph with a 20 mph wind, 5.55
ratio, or 5.55 times the speed of wind, what is possible with a model land
sailer?

Ah hehehe *a Beavis and Butthead giggle*
This depends on the scale size. Right?
Maybe an Answer can be answered with a Question.
If a 1/10 scale car can go 75mph/65kh there for it goes 750mph or 650kh
at its scale size. In our 1/1 scale view and sight it really goes 75mph.
Right?
So if a scale 1/1 sail scooner can go that many knots in actual for your
question 111mph there for a perfect scale model of the actual scooner at
either 1/10 1/8 or even 1/4 of the scales it should continue to provide
the same amount of push to pull of a sail. Thats ofcourse if this feat
can be reproduced? ;) Good luck probably find a sail r/c ng for future
