Electric Fly-Ins 9/7 AND 9/28

I have reserved the BEAUTIFUL, DARTS flying site at Twin Towers Park just east of Dayton for TWO electric fly-ins this month on the 7th and 28th! This park is easy to find just east of Dayton in Fairborn. Take the I-675 loop off of I-75 that goes east of Dayton. Just a couple exits past the Air Force Museum exit is the route 235 exit. Take that, go left (west) and then immediately back right after going under the expressway. After re-crossing the expressway continue on up a long, gentle hill a couple of miles. On the right you will see the park. In addition to the usual fun flying, I will have informal all up last down man on man competition for speed 400, old timer, and open. What time will that LMR competition be happening on the 28th?

The LMR competition at the DARTS field will start at 10:00 am on Sunday the 28th! Bring any electric thermal plane, as I will attempt to handicap the motor run times so we all end up at about the same launch altitude! I have a tiny altitude transponder so I can measure altitude vs. time on a test launch. I'm shooting for 500'. This should be a lot of fun! Spread the word! Paul Siegel
