Greetings!

This is a highly detailed model of the MS Hornet microelectric helicopter. It also includes instructions on how to create your own paint scheme from scratch using Windows Paint (comes with Windows) or any other Paint program. Free download at :

www.preflightsim.com

Note: PRE-Flight RC Flight Simulator is freeware and downloadable from the above site.

Jose

Nice one Jose! Helis are not my main interest, but that baby flies nice, even with my "clumsy thumbs".

Kudos, and of course, thermals.

Thanks Stew!

I gather you're into gliders?

Freeflight or RC?

I'm thinking of making a new glider (I've only got
the one in PRE-Flight). Know of any good ones?

Also, have you tried the thermals scenery in PRE-Flight?
I'm thinking of a "twister" scenery - no real reason outside
of "it could be fun to fly in a tornado".

Jose

Jose,

It is, or mostly was, free flight. And rarely gliders, but rather rip-roaring AMA gas classes. But Hung, the god of thermals, just won't go away completely, and rattles around in the back of my head at times.

I do use the "thermals" scenery at times and the glider as well. That glider is a majestic beast, and I find its flight relaxing in a way that other models cannot approach. That model flies and turns like what used to be called FAI A2 class gliders, which was what the international "larger" glider was called.

The thought of a "twister" landscape sounds like an interesting project, and I'll look forward to that and perhaps others?

Thank you for your efforts with PreFlight, the work is appreciated by many.

Thermals galore,

Stew

Hey Jose,

I know you can define a control setup in Preflight and save it but you need someway to link each airplane with the control setup you have defined for it so that when you load the airplane you automatically get the proper control setup.

Hank,

Great idea! I'll see if I can implement that on the
next PRE-Flight upgrade.

Thanks,

Jose
