Newbie modeller.. what model?

Hi. I am wondering what would be a good ship to start with for a new
modeller. A friend of mine made an R/C PT-109. I really liked his
and want to try one of my own. I am looking at the Blue Devil
Destroyer based on the size and price... but would like to get input
from people who have experience in this hobby.

Jason,
If you are looking at making an R/C model from either of these kits, you should have no problem with either. I feel that the PT boat might be a little easier because of the size of the model. But both have been done by many and there is enough experience in the forum with either one. I would pick the one you WANT to build and worry about the construction as you go.
