Here's my second try at a model. Foamfly's Bluecor Frog.

Give it a go. If you have one, please let me know if it flys close to the real thing. I've yet to build mine.

Nice model ggunners, and flys like I imagine mine will fly when I get around to it; probably this winter.

Your model flys like other heavily cambered single surface models I've had, and the shape and coloring seem accurate. I did however change a few parameters to allow sustained inverted flight, and added a touch of aileron to the right stick because the actual model will be turned from that stick - not with ailerons though. I'm not near the kit now, so the last is what I believe to be correct.

In any case, thanks for taking the time and trouble to create another FMS model, and I suspect it will be a popular one amongst the foam builders.

Thermals,

Stew

Stew, I sometimes add aileron to rudder planes and vice versa in FMS just so I have an option of using either stick for turning. Works for me.

Well done. Flys very close to my version of the Frog. Should be popular around here, a lot of folks flying these things.

bullseye000,

Thanks for the kudos,

I've posted an update at my website with a bit less reflectance on the wings so the blue foam shows off better while flying.

Give it another download when you get a chance.

Hey Gary

Check your www link in your profile. I can load your page but no signs of the file. I'll try you did a bang up job. Most of the stuff for FMS flies so mechanically. You captured the Frog pretty good.

Thanks for the heads up. Profile link corrected.

I updated the frog model today. Its available at this link (http://gunnerson.homestead.com/files/frog.zip). After resizing the top view, I lengthened the tail a bit. It looks much closer to the real frog now. It's even fun to fly virtually. I've also split out the rudder and elevator as I've heard that the new version of FMS will require they be their own objects.

Hey G looks really good. When the weather turns windy and cold up here I'll put this one to good use flying in the winter months.b
