What Flight Pack should I put in my new Hobie Hawk?

I recently bought a NIB Hobie Hawk and can't decide which receiver and servos to go with.

Any ideas?

Put any receiver you have in the Hawk as long as it has plenty of range and is narrow band. Standard size servos will fit nicely and will help minimize nose weight. A 700 Mah square battery pack will work nicely.

If you are unsure which receiver has adequate range, do a proper ground range check as described in your radio's instruction manual. Pick the combination that gives the best ground range.

Assuming your Futaba transmitter is PPM FM, then a Futaba dual conversion receiver or a Hitech model 555 would be good choices along with several others. Futaba standard servos will do, as will many others..
