View Full Version : Pixie-20P Problem

I wired up my pixie 20p and I don't have any throttle control. I hear the normal throttle arming sequence (two quick beeps). Then I hear a beep about ever 1.5 to 2 seconds. I can throttle up for a second or two then the engine cuts off. When the engine cuts off the beeping stops. The throttle is unresponsive at that point. If I throttle down beeping starts back up again. I can usually throttle up for another second or two.

Its not the lost signal beeping. If I turn off my tx the beeping speeds up. Also all the servos connected to the rx works.

I've switched out the engine, speed control, rx, and tx. So I'm pretty sure its the speed control.

Any clue whats going on? I probably bought this about 4-5 months ago (I think shortly after the P version came out), but I just wired it up tonight. Anyone else seen this?

Thanks,
Doug

Did you try reversing the throttle on the TX and making sure the ATV are 100% or more?

Futaba TX's must be reversed for sure.

I tried on both a Futaba (which is reversed) and a Hitec transmitter. I verified the throttle channel had 100% throws in each direction (if thats what you mean by ATV)... I only checked this on the Futaba. I have two Pixie7Ps which work fine with both radios.

Doug -- sounds like there is a bad microprocessor on that controller.... I think it might be LVC'ing early. Can you send it in?

Thanx!
