Hi Paris,
If you've got an aux channel free that's controlled by a switch, you can use
that to select HH or non-HH. The endpoint adjustments for that channel will
then be used to control the gyros gain, one side for HH and the other for
non-HH. The exact number will depend on how you model is setup. I'd start at
about 80% and work from there.
Good luck & Fly Safe,

The amount of tail rotor pitch in non heading hold is dictated by the length
of the servo arm Paris. The servo itself should be in sat in it's "centre"
point and the pitch is changed with the rod. Get the non heading hold part
right by flying and adjusting NOTHING but the rod length. Then when you
switch into heading hold, the heli shouldn't even twitch.
but it is in the middle too(no pitch),and adjusting the sub

Set ALL sub trims, mixes (revo and acc), trim settings, EVERYTHING to ZERO,
then adjust the rod length to get the desired pitch value. Do it in rate
mode (non heading hold) then fly.

Start with a gain valuse of 80% in heading hold and 70% in non heading. That
way if the tail wags violently in heading hold, switching into rate stops
the wag, then make fine tuning adjustments to the gain values to suit your
flying needs.

If you disable all the mixes regarding the tail like I've mentioned, and use
the GEAR channel (channel 5) to switch between HH and non HH, the only
values you'll need to play with at first are the ATV (endpoints) on channel
5 and the ATV on channel 4 (rudder).
Set the channel 5 end point for HH at 80% then flip the switch and set the
"new" ATV for "Rate mode" at 70%. If the heli wags it's tail, reduce the ATV
and if it DOESN'T wag, increase the ATV value. Increase until it DOES wag,
then back off a little.
Set the rudder channel (chan 4) ATV at 60-70% both sides, and if you find
you need the heli to rotate faster for a given tail rotor input, increase
the ATV value for channel 4.
