My Correx/coroplast Delta, need help

Built to an extact standard of a tried and tested plan.
My Correx Delta is well built and strong, I have decided to put a small engine in it but will this work???

Its a size 10 TT engine, like i said small as the standard engine size is around a 32,

Shall I put a larger engine in it? I would like to use the one I have,

Does anyone know any correx delta plan sites????
Does anyone know any good mods or great ideas??

You should check out Morgan Wood's website at www.mugi.co.uk and also do a search for Mugi here on RC Groups. Morgan is a regular here and has a load of different mods and tips for Correx modelling.

I'll move this thread to the SPAD section of the site and you might get some other input there as well.

If it's designed for a 32, a 10 will not even keep it in the air after launch.

Post some details of the model please - span, weight, wing area and a photograph or layout drawing would help. If it's an established design, a website would also help.

I used a .07 on a mugi delta 36"span x 18" cord. It did not have enough power for easy take-off, but once in the air, it flew fine.

With the .38, it will be fast (that is good) but, the wingloading will be very high (that is bad). P-factor on launch, reduced glide ration will yield many broken props.... Also with the .38 be sure to have high torque servos, and reinforced elevons.... You will need them!
