Do trike gear models track better on take off with main gear
toed in ?

A little toe-in won't hurt, but it's not normally needed with a trike setup. They are naturally pretty stable (with the majority of the wheel drag being behind the CG).

Just make sure the nose and main wheels are aligned straight & true and it should track fine.
