What are a few good sources to obtain the corregated plastic sheets from? I'd like to build one or more of these.

Thanks!

Do the places you listed carry 2mm coroplast? I know that the office supply places sell foamboard, but I have never seen coroplast there. I already have a pibros but want to build a DAZI or a MUGI. Just having problems finding 2mm coroplast. The sign companies around here are somewhat uncooperative when I ask them to get me a few sheets on their next order. Harborsales wont ship a full intact 4x8 sheet without charging smoewhere in the neighborhood of $75 for shipping.

Thanks in advance

2 mil seems to be very hard to locate.

I lucked out at a local sign supply shop (not printing shop).

They had 8 sheets left, and apparently wanted to get rid of the stuff because I bought 2 4x8 sheets for about $7.00.

Now have enough 2 mil to build arount 12-15 more planes!!!

I got 2mm Coro at Office depot (not for a plane, but that's a different story). they have 2mm and 4mm, and I think they have some other ones

Are you finding coroplast at an Office Depot in Isreal?

No office depot, office max, lowes, or Home depot in my area carries the stuff. The diy places want to sell me sheets of fiberglass that to corrigated to use as skylites on patios. All of the office supply stores want to sell me foam board. I may have to go and threaten a sign place with their lives just to get some cooperation. I've already told them that when I start building these planes that others will want the coroplast as well and that I will send those people ,that ask me, to them. All I get is a blank stare quickly followed by " sorry we cant get it because we have no use for it".

Damn these stupid rednecks

Wow, what a generous offer. I live in Alvin and fly with the Houston Hawks in Crosby.

I would very much like to take you up on your offer. PM me with your phone number and lets see if we can coordinate it.

ps.
What size are the sheets. Do you think that they are large enough to build a Dazi?

Thanks again

Just a note for anyone needing Coroplast in Houston, Texas or surrounding areas. I can get you a Coroplast 4' x 8' 4mm sheet for about $10. You can come by and pick up the sheets to save on shipping costs.

Great.....

Can you get 2mm as well?

Yes, I believe I can....I'll check on the pricing tomorrow.

I just called my supplier and they said that they don't carry 2mm...only 4mm. They can order it, but the freight would cost more than the material.

Anyway, I can get the 4mm for those who are interested and also the vinyl to dress up your planes in 15" x 30 ft. color rolls. Cost- $30 per roll. Not a bad price considering that a 5" x 3 ft. Monokote Trim sheet sells for $2.50 through Tower Hobbies. That means Monokote will cost $2 per sq. ft. and the vinyl will cost 80 cents per sq. ft.

I can ship the colored vinyl nationwide!

I just realized it yesterday.....Golf Courses. With all the golf outings and hole sponsors. That's a lot of coro. While most of them aren't very large. They are plentiful.

Like someone else said about signs --

try Garden Center's - Lowe's, Home Depot, Kmart etc. They make the little displays for the grass seed, fertilizer ets out of them. Talk to one of the employees about it. Find one half empty and ask them if you can have the whole box. I got two complete boxes of the stuff from a Scotts turf builder display. The boxes were 2'wx2'dx3'h
