Erik is ripping people off again. Do not do business with this guy.
He steals from other people to support his hobby. My brother sent him
a money order for 245.00 for a Traxxas Rustler. Erik cashed the money
order two months ago and never sent my brother the Rustler. He has
every lame excuse under the sun as to why he has not sent it. He said
he would send a refund and didn't. He will no longer awnswer e-mails
or phone messages. I have read other posts regarding this guy ripping
people off. My little brother is just a kid that can only work part
time and it takes him weeks to earn that kind of money. He was
excited to get the Rustler. Now he can't get one at all because he
had to barrow some of the money from my father so all his nest pay
checks will go to pay my father back for something he never got. This
guy is the lowest of the low. Don't deal with him, you will regret it.
I hope his boat explodes and he places last in every race he's in.
His ebay seller ID is river4me2003. I have documents to support all
of this so if anyone wants to debate this with me bring it on.

Not doubting what you are saying or ever having had dealings with either
of you but as of today it seems his ebay adventures have been 100%
positive. He has no negative feedback whatsoever.

Yes, his perfect feedback is exactly why we felt safe doing business
with him but unfortunately some people will exploit the feedback
system and feedback is not fool proof.. I am currently using every
legal resource possible to my get brothers money back and will
continue to do so until I am successful.. I just didn't want this to
happen to anyone else. He claims that he no longer runs boats due to
high cost of the hobby and that he is now into planes but I don't see
how much less the cost can be. I think he probably pissed off too
many people in the boat community and had to move on to something
else. Just my guess. I think he is an embarassment to the hobby
community. If he sends the money then I will post and let people know
but so far two months later nothing but the run around.

I am sorry to see that he is still able to get away with this, Jennifer he
has ripped of many people. He is a very good con artist and knows how to
keep taking advantage of people. I know that there are many people in the
R|C racing community that have been conned by McNair. I would hope that
your brother uses the eBay feedback system to put pressure on Erik. He has
in the past responded to such pressure. I think his biggest fear is that
others will figure out his scam. He usually gets friendly with people first
and makes cash purchases to gain trust then after a while he establishes
credit that at first he is prompt with payment . Then after some time he
makes a larger order that he never pays for. Most people are afraid to
expose him in the hopes if they just keep playing the game he will
eventually come through so few people ever hear what a cheat he is. He loves
to make excuses and string people along one of his favorite excuses is that
he is waiting for money from his trust fund. Thanks for taking the time to
warn everyone about Erik I know that he has been up to these same tricks
since at least 1994 when he skipped out on his Nationals Motel bill and
stuck the host club with his bill. There are also manufactures in FL that
would love to get a chance at him.
