Advice for recovering?

I'm recovering a old heat seaker that I bought from a local club member. If you're not familiar with it, it has a balsa sheeted foam wing. I'm wondering if I should save waight and just use iron on film, or if I should make it stronger and glass the wing. Also, I'm going to be using it on a winch. Thanks for the help.

Use Ultracoat lite or Oracover lite (same product - two brands). It is easier to apply, bubble free, over balsa sheet. It is much lighter than glassing and painting.
