The annual British Electric Flight Association's Technical Workshop is to be held this year on Sunday November 11th at Royal Leamington Spa, U.K.

All the usual traders have been invited, for a WHOLE day of retail therapy for you! I can also promise you some enlightening talks by some prominent Electric Flight figures.

Doors open at 10a.m. Tickets cost GBP6 in advance or GBP8 on the door and are available from Gordon Tarling, 87 Cowley Mill Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 2QD. Please make your cheque payable to BEFA and remember to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of your ticket.

Gordon,

I'm in the BMFA, but not the BEFA. Shock, horror, etc....

Can I still attend, or is it closed-shop full Union members only?

I'm in neither organisation at the moment. I'd also like to know if this is open to allcomers?

The Tech Workshop is open to ANYONE who cares to buy a ticket! Naturally, we'd prefer that you joined, but it isn't a requirement in order to attend. :)

Well the BEFA Technial workshop was held this Sunday, and it was very pleasant and informative. All the speakers made excellent talks - better than last year IMO. Mike Payne's dry sense of humour made his talk particularly enjoyable.

I would like to thank Gordon and the other BEFA committee members for organising it so efficiently, and the speakers for preparing their interesting talks. I think UK electric modellers are very lucky to have these meetings put on for all our benefit.

There also seemed to be a bigger attendance than last year. I wonder if the Ezone banner advert made any difference? :)

Neil.

The Ezone banner add was the only reason I knew about it so it made at least ONE difference :D
It was nice to meet you Neil and it was good to chat to people with the same interests in person.
I couldn't stay for the talks, I understand on was on using Depron which I would have liked to have heard. Any highlights from that on anyone?
