Hello friends

Brushless “540” size motors for RC cars are on the horizon, I’ve been watching the progress at the Novak web site. They have just posted basic specs on three systems.

This is great news.
RC Cars being a much larger market than electric RC airplanes means the price of brushless motors will be comeing down.

A UK based company make BL's for cars, and have done for a while now,

The novak ones have been "on the horizon" for ages :)

The company in the UK is.... Modeltech :)

Cheap, um, maybe not :D

£400 pounds for a motor+reverseable ESC (non-reversable a little cheaper)

I have two and they'll tear any of my model truck gears apart with an OTT blip on the throtal if i use two :D lots of fun.

There is also a company called, er, Aveox? or somthing, they make BL's too a little cheaper and less powerful, but still way more powerful than a brushed motor :)
