This is kind of a fun little thing to do with your free time. The tutorial on drawing a Clark Y airfoil is very easy to follow. The only thing is I didn't have a very precise ruler, but even a ruler that goes down to 1/16 works fine. I have to say it put a lot of my knowledge of aerodynamics together...making it easier to understand. Of course I'm sure there are programs out there that will do such a thing in an instant. Making a program that does this would be simple. Really all there is, is one variable muliplied by three sets of percentages. Well give it a try let me know what you think!

Profili (http://www.profili2.com/) is a program the 'does it in an instant'. It also come with 2800 airfoils, draws in spar notches, building alignment tabs and lightening holes, make foam cutting templates, blends 2 airfoils, and allows you to compare different airfoils... The download is free, and it's only $10 to register and unlock all the goodies...

Also check out Airfoil Design Workshop.
Graphically display and manipulate airfoils and output
to DXF. Import to your favorite CAD software or use
a free DXF viewer to print. Also designs tapered wings.
