PC Based Programmer for Transmitter

Has anyone suggested a PC based programmer for the computer radios. I'm envisioning a program that lets you make all the program settings on your pc and then upload it to your transmitter. You could even graphically display a plane with servo locations and control surfaces that replicated the movement of the transmitter sticks to test out your program. All of the communication to the pc would be via a usb/firewire port.
