In trying to program dual rates for one of my planes I found the radio would not accept programming inputs . What happened?
Thanks Mike, John Z.

Howdy,
I have 4 plane's, all with dual rate's, no problem. I followed the procedure exactly as outlined in the manual. I'm assuming that you'll be using a SOFT rate for takeoff, landing, or learning and a HARD rate for areobatics. That's what I do. However, one thing they don't tell you is which position the switch should be in. The switches should be DOWN for high rates. This is actually the "OFF" position. In other words, with the switches DOWN, adjust your throws for the desired maximum travel, then program your radio for the desired SOFT rate( 60, 75%, or whatever ).With the switches UP, you should see SOFT rates. With the switches DOWN, you should see the HARD rates. What I do is,with both switches UP, I take off, gain some altitude and speed, then snap the switches Down and go crazy. Hope this helps. Try it out.Could be your radio is bad, but I think you would be having other problems beside this. See ya, Bud.
