I have just taken delivery of my "new" shiney FF8 tx and no where does it
mention eCCPM. Does anyone know, off hand, whether the Tx handles 120
degree eCCPM or not?

I HAD a FF8, an old one and that did NOT do 120 degree CCPM. But the
instructions that I downloaded from the net were from a later model and that
DID. You need to find the mixing option Swash 3 and that will do the job.

Yes, I have got it now. My set doesnt have swash3 but it has some funny jap
alternative that gives CCPM at 120 with the servos in a variety of
positions. Since I dont actually NEED this yet with my R50 I am happy
enough again!

Thanks guys.

David, The original FF8 didn't have CCPM but you could get it by using the
mixes. 3 or 4 years ago Model Helicopter World had an article on it and it
worked ok .You could ring them to see if they would have a back issue of
it. I don't know the issue number but I remember it have a Nexus 4 stroke on
the cover.

Alternatively, Don Edbergs book covers the FF8 and the Super 8 (8UHPS in
North America.) It explains how to set up CCPM on the FF8 using the
conventional mixers.
