Next step after Eclipse

Hi, I have an Eclispe transmitter and am considering a GV1 but that
needs a few extra channels to be able to select different rotor speeds
from the trannie. Can anyone recommend a good (but not tooooo xxx'y)
transmitter to upgrade to ?

Also, if I change to JR or Futaba, can I keep the same hitec crystals?

I'd go for either the mid range JR or Futaba Eddie. Not too expensive, but
very funtional radio's with a plethora of unused channels:-)

Hey come on now Eddie. A pair of crystals isn't going to break you surely?
Using "other manufacturers" isn't a good idea anyway and it's guaranteed to
kill any warranty if you have a problem.
