I got #1, could ya give a certificate of authenticity or something fun? I can finally stop bugging the Mikes about the Hellcat. :)

Happy, happy... Joy, joy... :D

That looks great. Congratulations on getting the Hellcat to the marketplace.

I'm moving the thread to the Product Announcements forum, with a redirect from here, and I've closed off the duplicate thread that was posted in Scale Modelling.

Good luck with the model.

That's one SWEET lookin bird. I'll be spending the next few days picking up cans along the side of the road to be able to place an order for one :)

btw...I checked and if your laser guy can blow it up about 9.1% and get the wingspan up to 32 3/4 inches all the Guillows parts for their dog will be a perfect fit, and we can have the belly tank and landing gear covers for cheep :p

gollum,

Thanks, I'm glad you like her. The first wave of orders have just reached all their homes, so the next few weeks should be pretty Hellcat packed. ;) I wish it were as easy as just "blowing" them up, but unfortunately everything else like notches for stringers scale up as well.

See ! There's a reason *you* design things, and I just
build, fly 'n crash.

I would have never realized the stringers wouldn't fit
until they...didn't fit
