San Diego non-members of SASSASS would like to meet people interested in RC
surface sailing, either by playing with our toys on any given Sunday at
Cardiff or Mesa College, or bringing your own version of a sail car to race,
play soccer, do slaloms, beat the clock, or simply sit and watch as others
make fools of themselves chasing a wind-blown model helter skelter as they
crash, stall or capsize during the 'events'.
Why do I say non-members of SASSASS? Well, there is no membership, that I
know of. Just the attitude!
If we start practices now, somebody will be 'elected' to represent San Diego
next March at the Ivanpah Dry Lake next to Whiskey Pete's on the
California/Nevada border for the International event sponsored by the
International Radio Control Surface Sailing Association IRCSSA....
Anybody???
