Hey All --

I was just wondering what all I'd need to complete the Spirit Elite ARF kit.

I'm considering ordering one, and I'd like to not have to make multiple shipments to get all the parts needed...

So, with the ARF kit, battery, receiver and the 6 HS-81 servos ordered -- will i need servo extension leads? What about replacement pushrod material? I've seen a review where they replace the rudder pushrod with CF with teflon housing.

What battery configuration is best here? a 4 cell brick, or a flat pack?

Anything else?

Before you get those HS-81s, consider the GWS Naro + HP. They have 32in/oz of torque and weigh 0.35 oz. They are also smaller. Check out www.aeromicro.com

Best of luck,

Wayne: Yeah, I'm considering the GWS servos as well... Balsa Products has a good deal on them at the moment.

Les: Check your email! I may be interested.

I'm also looking at this plane. Could someone explain high starts for me (apologies - I'm new to gliding, although not to rc flying)? What length high start would be suitable for this plane? I was looking at these Hosemonster bungees (http://www.aerofoam.com/hosemonster.html) and saw they advertised 50' and 100' lengths. Are there other specifications I need to know - such as the "springiness" of the rubber (I know - I am very new).

Many thanks

Peter
