Hello everyone , I 've been flying a raptor 30 for about 2 years now and
enjoy this hobby totaly . Last Friday I had a minor crash , no problem
had the needed spares on hand but I've been having problems with the tt
36 engine for a while now so during the rebuild I installed a OS 32 . I
have a s9205 on the throttle , when I was checking out the linkage set
up I noticed that the servo would twitch back and forth with the stick
at half throttle . Is the servo trash ? any ideas with this ? Thanks
Jeff

Have you tried another servo, it could be something else esp PPM Rx.
David.

It's possible that the pot has worn in the centre (hovering) of it's travel.
If it doesn't do it at any other position, I'd suspect that before anything
else. It doesn't mean the servo's dead, just in need of a bit of Vaseline on
the pot.
God that takes me back:-)

Beav,
Vasoline??? Never heard of that before. If the pot is worn or dirty, what
does vasoline do for it?
Wondering?

Stops it jittering asnsd stops it wearing out any more (well MUCH more).
It used to be done VERY regularly with the old paper track pots, and it's
still a good method of determining if the pot is past it's sell by.
If Vaseline cures the prob, you KNOW it's time to fit a new pot:-)
