best way to deal with antenna?

I just stole the electron 6 receiver from one of my other planes to put in a wingwarrior glider. they suggest running the end of the antenna to the wingtip, but simply folding the excess back and forth into a small cutout just behind the radio. The electron 6 came with a bobbin for wrapping the antenna, and I still have it (though not the instructions), but have read varying results here on these board about using it.

I have seen these basic questions around the boards, but want to know what the Hitec word is on the dilemma.

The bobbin will not affect the range in any way... use it!
