Is my 10A ESC on my AF 010 dead?

Hi gang,

I had a belly landing with the switchback today (no throttle on at the time) and went out to relaunch. When I tried, the motor would stutter and jerk, which usually means one wire disconnected. I bring it back to the "pits" and try it again. Now it will run, but it doesn't start until about 1/2 throttle and at above 3/4 it will just plain ol' quit. I can run it indefinately between 1/2 and 3/4, it seems. What's up?

I had a similar thing happen to my Ph 25 ESC. I just unplugged it for an hour or so and it went back to normal. Sort of the old CRTL+ALT+DEL for when your ESC blue screens I guess. :p Never had the problem again though.

Mario, you instilled me with hope :D

However, from a dead cold start, throttle still doesn't come on until about 1/2 stick and at full it cuts out. The pack is charged too, by the way

Sloper -- Nope, at least not for the Phoenix. :)

It sounds like Dreamers ESC was damaged somehow -- You need to send it in and let us take a look at it.

Patrick/Queen ( ;) ), what's the process for sending this in? Do I need to include any specific documentation or just a note saying "It's broken!" and you'll know what I mean :D Also, what is the address? I'll finally get this pixielite 14 we were talking about off to you as well

I have a problem with my pixie 20. It was in a radical rc edge and the planbe started to act funky and it crashed. Then it was in a pbf and that bit the dust. I reinstalled it in the radical edge and now the motor doesnt even get voltage. I checked the motor and it's okay. When I plug the esc in it powers the servos but there is a red light flashing and it doesnt beep two times? What should I do?

TeamSME: Better send that thing in. Are there any burnt components visible on the ESC? Is the shrink melted anywhere? Did you verify that the throttle channel hasn't accidentally been reversed? What exactly has the "funky" behavior when the Edge was flying it's last flight?
