Thanks Guys!! I got it working, and Id say Its pretty close to flying,It should do me some good to practice. But i have a corona 120,But all i can find to download is the corona 110 model"which is gas"and I have a electric.Anyone know where i might find a corona 120 model?would the corona 120 be the same as flying the gas version?Cause in FMS the corona 110 seems real zippy,my corona seems slower,But the just like in real life i crashed in the sims too,So i know it's atleast that realistic :)

Try adjusting the .par file. Just reduce the thrust number a little bit until it feels right. You can replace the .wav file with an electric heli sound if the look is close enough.

Profit,

Here's how . . . . .

1. Enter the FMS directory and click on Models

2. On the toolbar, clickView and select Details

3. You'll see 4 columns

4. The third column is labelled Type . . . .look for the PAR file for the model you want.

5. Click on that file. You will be asked what program to use for this file.

6. Scroll down the list until you find Notepad . . . select that and check the box to use this every time.

7. The info you see is what you change to alter the plane's characteristics.

Hope this helps ! ! ! ! A little German will help, too.

Under View (I'm assuming you have Windows) you should see a section that gives these choices.

Large Icons
Small Icons
List
Details

If you're using MAC, I don't have a clue.

That's how it works for me too.

However you do it, open the .par file for the corona (corona.par?) and change the second line to a lower number. You may have to try a few different settings until it feels right.

The sound file is not in the par but a separate file called corona.wav maybe? You can delete it and replace it with a different sound file by renaming it to the same name as the file you replaced.

attached is an electric heli .wav file.

Thanks guys,i couldnt find it like you said, but i did a search for files and folders and found the LMH *par file and did it like that.Thats great i love all the option, now i can make it really fly like my real heli. But i have more questions :) first question is,I left my radio on charge for like close to 2 days, and when I turned it on I noticed that my battery indicator lights didnt come on anymore,But someone told me that interface cords sometimes mess up a radio?I dont think the charge would do it,if anything the battery just might be fried.if anyone has any idea what coulda caused this LMK

Is the radio still working without the lights? Do the lights only go out when the interface is plugged in?

I've never heard or read about an interface damaging a radio. My HiTec Focus 4 has a battery meter instead of lights. It still works when the interface is plugged in. I also leave my radio on charge whenever I'm not using it. So it's ready whenever the weather is cooperating. Have been doing it that way for almost two years.

Here's another electric heli sound file, it's slightly different than the elektrolicht.

yes,the radio still work without lights, the lights are out when pluged in with interface, and when useing for real heli. All this happened the first day i got my interface,I was using"with lights"I used say maybe about a hour or 2,and forgot to turn off remote, battery went dead.I pluged up to charge they recomende like 20 hours for charge, but im guessing that I left on charge for 30-35 hours. But again wouldnt this just ruin the battery?and have nothing to do with my light battey meter? Also I have no idea how to make the elcktropower zip file work with the heli?If you could help me with that it would ROCK! :)

The radio question might be a good one for Mike Mayberry in the "Ask Mike at HiTec thread" in the Radio forum. sorry to say I'm stumped.

For the zip file, use Winzip to extract it to your FMS/Models folder, then delete (or rename to something else) the original LMH.wav file and rename the elektropower.wav to LMH.wav.

I removed my crystal and now get about 6 hours of FMS flying between charges.

Just thought I'd mention this.
