I bought a Flash 5X with two HS55 servos for my Slow Stick a few weeks ago from Hobby Lobby. Not knowing how to mount them I tried to drill a larger hole through the servo to use a 4-40 bolt to fasten them to the Slow Stick fuselage holders. In doing so, I nicked the black wire of the three (black-red-yellow) wires that come out of the servo and connect to the reciever. Needless to say the servos don't work. Can I get these repaired? I don't think I could resolder wires that small and that close to a chip.

Anxious to fly but feeling dumb,
Bob

Your best bet would be to send them back to Hitec.Go to their website and copy the repair sheet and follow the instructions.Be sure to tell them what you did.By the way, the screws in the servo box will work fine to attach the servos to the Slow Stick sevo holders without any drilling.Put the screws in from the bottom after you line up a set of holes.
