Has anyone else experienced this? You plug in your battery and the Phoenix confirms the power up by beeping. However, sometimes it is loud and audible and others so soft you would miss it if you yawned. No apparent effect on perfmance. My morbid curiousity just wonders why?

Hmm....
This is on the same controller, same power system, same plane and such?

Simple answer: It depends on where the rotor is when you power up. In some positions, the power on beep will be louder than in other positions. It depends on how much leverage the windings have on the rotor, because the controller vibrates the rotor to make the noise.

AHHH. Thanks guys. I noticed it does it on all 6 of my controllers and just my desire for wanting to know how things work:). Great product and keep up the good work.
Mike.
