webra 91 AAR gearing

[mastiff]

Hi , Does anyone have experience with the above engine, I want to
drive 71cm mains at 1750. The local store suggest 7.6:1 but the engine
would only be doing 13200ish rpm which seems low to me or are they
right?

The Webra 91AAR, in my experience, does not like reving that low. Try a
ratio above 8.1, and you'll have more success (based on my experience)

tell you what, a webra91 in a Fury Extreme on 7.75:1 is absolutely perfect and bang in the power band!

See it at the 3d masters if you don't believe me!

Mine runs at 8:1. This is fine, too.
