Sportfans,

The new JR 9x radio is just around the corner. Some of you have seen my programming manuals for the JR 347 and the JR 8103 computer radios.

I am looking for some feedback. Reviews take a lot of time. But the programming manual for the JR 8103 was a real ball breaker in terms of the amount of time it took to assemble. (the manuals are too long to attach but are available at http://www.reddata.com/sass/soaring_info/tech.htm for you to download).

From what little information I have been able to assemble, the new 9x looks to be the new trend setter in computer radios. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

So I am looking for feedback. If you used my programming manuals before, did you find them useful? Would you change anything? Would pictures of the programming screen be helpful? If you purchased a JR 9x would you look for third party programming help? If you are a JR guy would you like to see another programming manual?

In other words, I am trying to decide if I want to spend the 60 plus hours it is going to take to write another manual. So far, I don't have a review of the radio lined up with any magazine, but I am working on it.

Thanks for your input. The more the input, the better the next product will be. Thanks for your time responding to this e-mail.
