Hi Mike,
I've got a new Hitec Flash 5X transmitter that has flaked out on me twice.
The first time was after I progammed it for initial setup. I set up all of my preferences for Model 1 and saved them. I then used the radio a couple times more on subsequent nights for tweaking the throws. The fourth or fifth time I used it, my servos jerked in opposite directions and stayed there. The speed controller started beeping. Moving the sticks didn't produce a response. In the end, I had to reset Model 1 on the radio and things went back to normal. I used the radio a few times after that without problems.
Last night I went to do a range check and the same thing happened. I turned the radio on, plugged the plane battery to the plane, and the servos jerked to opposite ends and stayed. I switched the radio to use Model 2, and it worked fine. So, again, I had to reprogram Model 1.
Any ideas?
