Hi,
I will be moving to London, England for about five months beginning this
July. I would like to check out some flying fields around London -
specifically, I will be living near Canary Wharf. I won't be able to
transport my Heli's, but I like watching others fly almost as much as I
enjoy flying (provided I don't crash!).
Any field recommendations are welcome, but heli-specific fields are
preferred. I read about some cool fields in Rotor magazine, but I can't
remember where they are. (Do you also have directions to get there?)
Cheers!!

Josh.
Couple of sites round by Heathrow airport but they are really the other side
of London for you so this would be a bit of a track especially if you are
using public transport..I would of thought maybe Wormwood scrubs near
Shephards bush might be ok ish , i think they still fly there ...can someone
confirm ??

Watford Wayfarers have a dedicated heli field near the M1/M25 junction. Its a
bit of a way out from Canary Wharf, but should be reasonable on a Sunday!
Let me know when you get here and I'll e-mail directions to you.....
