Hello everyone. I wanted to put up a quick post incouraging everyone to get
a flight simulator to help keep those thumbs in shape. You can download a
great free sim called FMS and use a joystick or your keyboard to fly the
planes. You can also buy from me an interface that allows you to hook your
RC transmitter up to your computer and control the planes just as you would
your real planes. it simulates better than a joystick or keyboard the
feeling of flying.
anyway i make and sell the interfaces for win95/98/ME for 19.00 and the ones
for XP/2000 for 25.00 in the US. For more info or to place an order visit
my website.

Hi Matt.
A few months ago i downloaded the software and bought an interface cable off
EBay for my JR radio. I can't seem to get it setup properly, when i go into
the setup and calibrate the controls i can assign the channels to control
whatever function, and when i move the sticks it moves the indicators saying
its got full travel and centered etc. but when i go back to flying the
models it just doesn't seem to be receiving any of my inputs...???
My TX is a JR XP642 and i have a Packard Bell 866mhz running Windows ME. FMS
version 2.0 Beta 7. I've tried changing all of the settings in the setup,
like baud rate and different com ports and tried clearing the memory on the
TX to standard setup, but no luck.
Do you have any ideas that might help...?
I've emailed the guy i bought the cable from but i haven't heard back from
him yet (2 weeks).
Thanks heaps,
Dave

Yes, it is important to understand that a simulator is totally worthless
unless you can interface a control box, either your own or a simulated one
like G2 offers.

No need for special interfaces. Go to
http://www.sekiriki.jp/smartpropo/index.html
Hes got a program for jr radios where you anly need an audio cable to
connect your radio to tyhe pc. Pretty neat stuff
