Howdy! After seeing the mention of the D.U.K.W planms available from
Traplet. I ordered a set from England. My advice? Don't bother.

This plan (1 sheet) does not represent a D.U.K.W. Rather it seeems to
be someone's idea of what a Uni-Mog made into a D.U.K.W might look
like if the Uni-Mog were made out of balsa.

You would be much better off trying to create a drawing yourself from
photos and 1/35th scale CCKW kit.

Just a thought.

Back when I first started modeling I bought a plastic model
and scaled it 2:1 and built the big one out of sheet plastic.
I wanted to add R/C but hardly anyone was R/C except
aircraft. It worked fine, but the servos at the time were crude.
I had all the details so the 2:1 was easy.
Give it a try!!

I can confirm that these plans are not a true scale D.U.K.W. as I have these
plans and have had them for years. Having said that though there is a lot of
useful construction info on them to be able to draw up your own scale
D.U.K.W. using the ideas shown there, at least it would save a little bit of
head scratching in working out certain ideas.
Regards...........Mark.
