Guys, sorry for this...
just managed to foolishly reset my FF7 and now trying to re-do the good
work. My rudder is the problem... at idle throttle position I have NO left
travel at all but full right. At full throttle I have full right "rudder"
but still only partial left "rudder" travel.
Is this rudder throw proportional to throttle normal anyway? I feel it can't
be as in real autos I'd have no rudder authority. I have 50% rev mixing
set.
Which setting do I need to fix to get rudder throw back?

Turn off your revo mixing, it's causing your problem.. Turn the radio off
and then back on again, it should work ok.
The behaviour you aredescribing could also be an effect of H/H mode...

It might be worth remembering too Dave, that Futaba radio's default to "Revo
on", so when/if you get another model, one of the first things you should do
(particularly if you use a HH gyro) is inhibit that function.
