Putting a crash kit in my venture 30. Changing out the main shaft. Removed
the shaft from the frame and then removed the stop collar (from the shaft)
which rests on the top bearing in the frame. Went to put the stop collar on
the new shaft when I noticed that there is a small raised ridge on one side
of the collar. Can't decide if this ridge should face the bearing or if it
should face the swashplate. Instruction manual doesn't say, detail is not in
any of the pictures, and tech support is closed for the weekend. Any help
out there?
