In the july issue of Model Helicopter World on page 16 I found a full body
fuselage for Raptor 30 from Robbe Schluter.

Does anyone know if it will fit on a Raptor 50 ?
I belive the 50 has a longer tailboom, but won't it just stick a bit further
out in the back ?

You could always build it with an R30 boom. Keep the 50 motor, cooling and
gear ratios. Slap on some shorter blades and away you go.
You will have to be careful with your throttle curve so as not to overspeed
with the more powerful motor and shorter blades (use a G|V-1 ?).

There are a couple of people in club who have fitted 50s in there R30s, and
not changed the boom/blades, so I can't see it being a problem in a scale.
If anything, it will probably help you out as you will not be stressing the
thing so much to get it in the air

Good luck
